Submit Your UK Visa Application with Total Confidence — Reviewed by an Expert Before It's Too Late

Have your completed application and supporting documents professionally assessed by a Senior Immigration Lawyer with 20+ years' experience — and find out exactly what needs to change before you submit.

You've done the hard work. You've gathered your documents, filled in the form and you're almost ready to submit. But something is holding you back.

stressed woman worried about her uk visa application being approved
  • Not 100% sure every answer on your application form is correct?
  • Worried you've included the wrong type of evidence — or forgottensomething critical?
  • Frustrated by the vague guidance on the government's website?
  • Overwhelmed by conflicting advice you've found online?

These aren't irrational fears. UK visa applications are refused every day for reasons that could have been caught and corrected before submission — wrong documents, inconsistent information, missing evidence. Our Checking Service exists to catch those issues before they cost you your visa.

Get Complete Peace of Mind Before You Submit

For a fraction of what you'd pay for full legal representation — which typically costs between £1,500 and £3,500 for a spouse visa alone — our Checking Service gives you the eyes of a Senior Immigration Lawyer on your entire application at a fixed, transparent price starting from just £300 (+VAT *where applicable).

You submit everything electronically. Melanie reviews it thoroughly within 3–4 working days and sends you a clear, written report in plain English telling you:

  • What's correct and ready to go
  • What's missing or needs to be obtained before you submit
  • What needs to be corrected or reformatted
  • Where your application could be strengthened
  • Whether, in her professional opinion, your application is in a strong position to be granted

What you get with your Checking Service:

  • Full review of your supporting documents — every item assessed against Home Office requirements for your specific visa route
  • Application form review — every section checked for accuracy, consistency and completeness (*optional add-on: deduct £50 if you don't need the form reviewed)
  • Written feedback report in plain English — a clear, structured report highlighting what's correct, what needs fixing and what's missing, with specific recommendations
  • Recommendations Likelihood assessment — Melanie's honest professional view on whether your application, as submitted, is in a strong position to succeed where any documents should be reformatted prior to submission;
  • Unnecessary document alert — we'll tell you what to remove as well as what to add; irrelevant documents can cause delays and undermine your application

Checking Service FAQs

  • What will my written feedback report look like?

Your feedback report is a clear, structured written document prepared specifically for your application. It covers:

    • An overall assessment of your application's strengths and anyconcerns
    • A section-by-section review of your application form
    • A document-by-document assessment of your supporting evidence
    • A prioritised list of issues to resolve before you submit
    • Specific, practical recommendations in plain English

The report is prepared personally by Melanie Wong and is tailored to yourspecific visa route and circumstances — it is not a template or automatedchecklist.

  • How Does the Checking Service Work?

Our preferred method is for you to upload your documents electronically via Dropbox (Once we receive your order, we will setup a secure folder for you and provide you the full instructions how to access it).

Your items will then be reveiwed by Melanie Wong within 3-4 working days and you will receive detailed feedback highlighting any missing/incorrect documents or mistakes on your form, including ways to strengthen your application.

  • Is the Checking Service appropriate for me?

This application checking service is suitable for individuals who are able to complete the majority of a Home Office application themselves and have gathered all of their supporting documents, but want a legal expert to review everything and reassure them their application has the highest chance of being successful.

If you are unable to complete the application yourself or you are unsure about which documents to include, this service may not be appropriate. Instead you could book a consultation for further guidance on the basics, or order a Tailored Supporting Document List to ensure you have ALL of the correct documents for your application.

If you're not sure whether this service is right for you, you're welcome to

    contact us

before ordering. We'd rather spend five minutes pointing youin the right direction than have you purchase a service that isn't the bestfit.

  • How Long will the Service Take?

Your documents will be reviewed and processed within 3-4 working days of receipt.

  • How Much does it Cost?

Please refer to the Detailed Price List

The Service starts from only £250* (inc. VAT) for all your Supporting Documents to be checked.

Typical Applications such as a Spouse Visa with income from employment (working with the same employer for the last 6 months) will usually cost a total of £300 to include your application form to be checked.

*Full Fee is subject to Visa Application and/or types of supporting documents that need to be assessed.

With application fees getting more and more costly, this is an afforable Fixed price Service and only a fraction of the price of paying for a full preparation service from other solicitors.

Get a quick turn around time and guarantee that your application and documents will be reviewed by a genuine UK Immigration expert.

  • What if my visa is still refused after the Checking Service?

The Checking Service is designed to identify and help you resolve the most common, avoidable reasons applications are refused — incorrect documents, missing evidence, inconsistencies in your application form. By addressing these before you submit, you give your application the strongest possible foundation.

However, like any professional review service, we cannot guarantee anoutcome. Immigration decisions are made by Home Office caseworkers who have full discretion, and a number of factors — including your personal immigration history and individual circumstances — are outside the scope of what a checking service can address.

What we can tell you is this: every application we review is assessed withthe same rigour we apply to applications we prepare ourselves. Our goal isto leave no avoidable stone unturned.

If your application is refused despite following our recommendations, we can discuss whether an Appeal, Administrative Review or other next steps may be appropriate.

Contact us to discuss your situation.

  • I do not know what supporting documents to include, can you help?

This Service is only beneficial if you are able to complete a draft application yourself and without legal advice.

If you do not know which Home Office application form to use or what supporting documents to include, we can help you with some of the basics via a consultation

If you want a complete list of the documents to include relating to your specific case, we recommend you order a Tailored Supporting Document List Pack first/instead. - Find out more about this other Service here.

  • When should I order the Checking Service? How many days before I submit my application?

We recommend you have your documents checked no less than 3 weeks before you submit your application.

This should allow you enough time to obtain any missing documents, update existing documents and make the necessary changes to your application form once you receive your professional feedback.

  • What type of applications do you offer the document checking service with?

Please refer to the Pricing Tables for the list of Applications we ussually cover.

Other applications may be available upon request, please contact us to discuss your case.

Please note that the Checking Service is not suitable for the following case types, as these require a more in-depth level of legal involvement:

Not sure which category applies to you?

    Get in touch

and we'll point you in the right direction.

  • I do not have all the supporting documents but I want to order the checking service, is this possible?

Yes. As part of the Application Checking Service the supporting evidence that you do have will be fully assessed.

You will be advised what documents are not needed and can be removed, and whether you have enough supporting evidence to submit your application to the Home Office.

This information will be contained in the written advice once everything has been reviewed.

  • Do you recommend I provide a copy of the application form?

You will have the most benefit from this service if you can provide us with the draft Home Office application form.

Simply save a PDF copy of the draft online application form and provide that copy to us.

The form will make it easier to assess your documents and ensure you have covered everything for a successful application.

  • Will you provide a cover letter for my application?

We only provide full cover letters for applications we have prepared ourselves.

We also provide individual supporting letter templates here

  • Do you submit the application to the Home Office for me?

No. The Application Checking Service does not include a service for sending your application to the Home Office. - It will be your responsibility to properly complete the form, include all the relevant supporting documents, send it to the Home Office and manage the application process.

It will also be your responsibility to ensure you follow the written advice you receive, add/replace documents, improve the application etc before submitting everything to the Home Office.

  • Can I provide an application and documents on behalf of someone else?

Yes, you can order the checking service and submit someone else’s application on their behalf and with their permission.

For example, you can purchase and submit documents for your spouse/partner or dependent child.

  • I have received my written feedback and made amendments, can you check my documents again for me?

Yes. You can re-submit the application for a second check, however please note that this second check will incur a fee, as Melenie will need to undertake another full check of your application and complete a second written advice.

We are currently offering a 50% discount for second checks, if you require a second review please let us know and we will issue you a separate invoice with payment instructions for this.
